Once upon a time I decided (again) I really needed to blog. A little later my daughter attended a concert by Ben Rector. After the concert, she came home and played me a bunch of his songs. Here's what happened.
So, yeah, it's that simple. There I was in the midst of designing my blog and was hung up on what I should title it. My sixteen-year-old went to a Ben Rector concert (don't worry, she has GREAT taste in music). Here's the photo from her Instagram on the night of the concert:
And she came home more in love with his music than she was prior to going to see him live (hard to imagine, but it's true). And she played me several of his songs. And here are the lyrics to Ben's song "Crazy" which I have now claimed as the new anthem for my life (and title of my blog!):
